Nakoa Trail Sign - Start of Trail 2nd sign at a trail intersection in the loop. Located at the cement bunkers (see next photos). Continue left on the trail to stay on the nakoa which loops back around to the start. Brian's somewhere in there. Not sure why these cement boxes are in the middle of the valley. Beginning of Kahana Trail Beginning of Trail The trail is cut well and easy enough to follow - can be a bit muddy in places. Bracken's camera-shy. So cute Moss covered tree on Kahana Valley Trail Jared on the trail above the stream. 2nd loop trail (from bunkers) leads along the stream. Oh Dear Beautiful area to explore. Kahana Valley Trail Bamboo Forest just down the trail from the cement bunkers on the 2nd loop. Sarah and the boys. Rope swing at pool near end of trail. Deep pool, with a submerged cement pillar to stand on. Emily diving off the rope swing. It's deep - the others are standing on a cement pillar.
