Trail to the top of the Ko'olau Range. We took a turn off that led down to the Kaluanui (Aka Sacred Falls) Stream. Had some breakfast when we got to the stream at 2000 Feet Elevation - far above sacred falls. First waterfall on our descent of the gulch. April 7, 2007 - Waterfall #1 Harnessed up and ready to get wet. Jeff & Yo jumping down the 2nd waterfall. Canyoneering has got to be one of the greatest activites on the planet. Dave and Jenne - recently engaged. Wolfman can jump. Yo's excited to go down the next drop. Adam dropping down the 3rd waterfall. Jenne jumping - falls #3 Nate jumping down the 3rd waterfall. Jared rappelling the 4th waterfall (last one before the big drops). Adam rippin down the 4th waterfall. Yo coming down the 4th waterfall. Mer at the top of the big drops (300 and 500 foot waterfalls). Jared and Merlin heading over the lip of the drop. Wolfman Jared's heading down. Jenne about two-thirds of the way down. Jenne reaches base of first big drop. Nate Wadsworth Nate continues down after clearing a hole in the wall. Yo starting his descent Dave Paddock Adam Commando style's the proper way to go down this one. Between the big drops - setting for the the 510 foot drop. 510 foot waterfall above sacred falls. Not sure which one of us it is at the top rappelling down. Waterfall is to large to fit in one photo. Another rappeller coming down. Jenne coming down. Nate coming down the 510 foot waterfall. Nate reaches the pool at the bottom of the big drop. Jared Halterman on his way down the 510 foot drop. Yay! I'm down. Helicopter visits Dave during his descent. Tour Helicopter in the canyon. Had a few choppers visit us, including the police, but no trouble. Adam on his way down.
